STEP refers to Student Transition and Elevation Partnership. So, IEEE STEP was developed to provide a dynamic program for facilitating the transition from Student member to young professional by introducing the opportunities and benefits of IEEE membership during the onset of a STEM career. The event is planned to be hosted in person and with the theme: “Transition to a Sustainable Future”. The event’s main objective is to prepare the students for the professional field and encourage them to join as young professional members.
This year the event was organized by IEEE YP Egypt and in collaboration between IEEE UH student branch on 11-September-2023. Moreover the event was hosted at UH university in the new capital of Egypt. Additionally, the attendees were undergraduate students and graduates. Besides, the topics were technical and non-technical.
